Oregon Softball: Bunker, McGowan named All-Americans

Terra McGowan #11 hits a homerun putting the Ducks on the board. The Ducks trailed 1-2 after the swing. The No. 20 Utah Utes upset the No. 13 Oregon Ducks 8-2 on day two of the three-game series at Jane Sanders Stadium on May 6, 2023, in Eugene, Ore. Utah had an early lead with a two-run homer in the top of the third. Terra McGowan hit a solo home run in the bottom fifth, but then Utah scored five runs at the top of the seventh, making it difficult for Oregon to return. Allee Bunker's lone home run in the bottom of the seventh gave some hope, but it ended quickly. Oregon looks to avoid the sweep Sunday at 2:00 p.m. on Senior Day. Photo by Paul Robinson
