Police: Buck deer found shot, left to waste on Panther Creek Road in Douglas County

    ROSEBURG, Ore. - State police made a public appeal for help identifying the person or persons responsible for shooting a fork-horn buck and leaving the animal to waste last week.

    Oregon State police said the deer was shot the night of October 5 from Panther Creek Road, a spur road off West Fork Cow Creek Road.
