July 4 in Western Oregon: Butte to Butte in Eugene, parade in Creswell, food in Roseburg

EUGENE, Ore. - Even on a Wednesday, the Fourth of July didn't fail to light up Western Oregon (even if the weather couldn't seem to live up to the forecast).

Creswell celebrated all day long, including a community parade that packs in as many visitors are there are residents in the town 10 miles south of Eugene.

Farther south in Douglas County, they celebrated the freedom to try food at a food truck competition.

Up north in Hillsboro, the traditional parade marked Independence Day.
