MONROE, Wash. - Search-and-rescue teams so far have found no trace of a young Monroe woman who reportedly tumbled over the falls near a rural Snohomish County lake on Thursday.

The search crews responded to Cedar Ponds Lake, south of State Route 2 off Dagger Lake Road, at about 6 p.m. after friends of 22-year-old Jazmine Weitlauf reported her missing, said Shari Ireton of the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office.

Swiftwater rescue teams and other volunteers searched the area for several hours but were unable to find Weitlauf. The search was suspended at around 11 p.m. Thursday.

Renewed aerial and ground searches were launched Friday.

Ireton said there is no evidence at this time that the woman went into the water intentionally.
