Video From Malheur Refuge standoff shows occupiers on the night of Finicum's death

PORTLAND, Ore. - A video was released last week of the group involved in the 2016 takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.

The footage is from January 26, 2016 - the night fellow occupier Lavoy Finicum was shot and killed by state troopers.

The 41-day occupation was nearing its end, and the conversation sheds new light on the emotional impact on those who remained.

The prosecution used the video as evidence in its case.

Ultimately, jurors acquitted the leaders of the occupation, along with five other participants.

Ammon Bundy, the leader of the refuge occupation, was recently released from U.S. custody during his Nevada trial over a separate armed standoff with U.S. agents in 2014 near his father's ranch.
