Umpqua Valley Arts Association offers kids chance to explore creative skills
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A non-profit in Roseburg wants to give kids the chance to explore their creative skills.
The Umpqua Valley Arts Association puts on different art classes each weekend for kids to enjoy.
Some classes include clay, painting, or drawing.
The non-profit says kids can learn about art while still having fun.
"I love seeing them really engaged,” UVAA’s Emily Saunders said, “and you can tell that even though it's Saturday, they're here and they're having fun, and if they didn't want to be here then they wouldn't come; they would watch cartoons at home. So, we know that we're doing something right."
If your child would like to attend, the Umpqua Valley Arts Association offers classes every weekend throughout the school year.
