MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. - Investigators have made a public appeal for help identifying a man found dead in a secluded wooded area in Myrtle Creek in March.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the man was white and of European descent, about 35 to 60 years old and 6-feet tall.

"If they have a loved one that is missing, we encourage them to call in and provide us with whatever information they may have," Sgt. Brad O'Dell with the sheriff's office said.

Deputies also hope the man's distinctive clothing will help identify him. Items include a blue short sleeved t-shirt with wording, black and red nylon athletic shorts, and a black and blue jansport backpack.
