ASHLAND, Ore. - Crews worked to recover fresh green and purple grapes from the wreckage of a semi truck that crashed Wednesday morning on northbound Interstate 5, just north of the California border.
The crash happened around 7 a.m., south of Ashland.

"Salvage crews continue to off-load cargo from the semi that rolled earlier this morning. Contrary to earlier reports, the cargo is fresh green and purple grapes on pallets," ODOT said in a statement. "Slow lane is open to traffic. Cargo recovery is occurring happening in the fast lane. Use caution through the crash zone and expect short delays." | TRAFFIC CONDITIONS
