Police: Roseburg man arrested after pointing gun at woman asking for the time

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg man was arrested Wednesday morning after he reportedly pointed a gun at a woman, a Roseburg Police Department report said.

According to police, 40-year-old Kenneth Perea was sitting in his Land Rover in the parking lot behind the News-Review when a female walked up to ask him the time.

As she approached, "Kenneth allegedly raised a pistol up and pointed it at her," the report said.

Perea was later arrested and lodged at Douglas County Corrections.

He's charged with menacing, pointing a firearm at another, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
