Oregon State Police find secret drug lab north of Madras

MADRAS, Ore. - Oregon State Police troopers found a secret drug lab north of Madras while serving a search warrant Monday.

According to Oregon State Police, troopers executed a search warrant at a residence on Northwest Columbia Drive in Jefferson County.

They say 28-year-old Joshua Joseph lives there.

While searching the property, troopers found a clandestine drug lab along with other drug-related evidence.

The Oregon State Police Drug Enforcement Section processed the illegal drug lab and collected hazardous material.

Joshua Joseph was lodged at the Jefferson County Jail on charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, theft by deception, possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police anticipate Joseph with face additional drug-related charges.
