Local fire crews head to eastern Oregon to fight Stubblefield Fire

Fire crews from TVF&R and Clackamas and Multnomah counties are on their way to the Stubblefield Fire near Condon in eastern Oregon.

Winds contributed to the fire's rapid spread from 600 to roughly 5,000 acres in a single day Friday.

People living in the subdivision near Mountain View Drive are under a Level 2 (Get Set) evacuation order.

On Friday afternoon, Gov. Kate Brown declared the fire a conflagration.
