Firefighters respond to new blaze west of Glendale
GLENDALE, Ore. - Firefighters have ordered additional ground and aviation resources to ehlp battle a new wildfire west of Glendale.
No homes are threatened, and no evacuations have been issued.
"Five helicopters are currently supporting ground resources as they work to contain the Bear Springs Fire," the Douglas Forest Protective Association said. "Additional ground and aviation resources have been ordered to assist with the blaze and are en-route to the fire."

The fire is estimated at 7 to 10 acres, burning about 7 miles west of Glendale.
The fire is burning on a steep hillside with poor access, firefighters said.
The cause is under investigation.
