COOS BAY, Ore. - Authorities are looking for a Marshfield High School freshman who left school on Wednesday, took her mother's truck and apparently headed north.

Talena Coplin reported her daughter Allison Coplin, 15, as a runaway to police.

“I’m scared out of my mind,” Talena said.

She said her daughter and some friends left school and later stole Talena's truck, camping gear, food and money.

The truck's license plates were scanned in Salem on Wednesday evening, her mother said - prior to the truck being reported stolen.

As a result, police did not pull the vehicle over.

Talena suspects her daughter is headed north and out of state. She is working with authorities to locate her daughter.
