ALBANY, Ore. – Some fake $100 bills are starting to circulate in the south Willamette Valley, and authorities want you to be on the lookout for the counterfeit cash.

According to Albany Police, some of the bills obviously look fake.

They say that others, however, look "fairly legit" and are passing the pen test, where cashiers test the bills with a special marker that doesn’t react with legitimate U.S. currency.

If you come across one of the fake bills, seize it and call local authorities.
