ROSEBURG, Ore. — The City of Roseburg is seeking applicants for the Roseburg Library Commission.
The Library Commission serves as an advisory capacity to the Roseburg City Council. The Commission considers efficient library operations, develops long-range plans for library services, assists with annual reports and advocates for the library budget, events and programs.
The vacancy comes after Commissioner Kelly Peter submitted her resignation as she is moving to Florida. Peter's resignation is effective Friday, June 30, 2023.
Applications are being accepted until 5:00 p.m., June 26, 2023. City officials say interested applicants must live within city limits.
To apply, applications are available to download from the City's website, obtained by emailing info@cityofroseburg.org, or picked up in person from the City Administration Office, Roseburg City Hall, 900 SE Douglas Ave. Applications can be mailed, dropped off or emailed to info@cityofroseburg.org.
