MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. -- Just after 7 a.m. Tuesday, the Douglas County Emergency Communications center received 911 calls from unknown callers regarding a shooting at a school in Myrtle Creek.
According to Myrtle Creek Police, one caller stated there was a bomb and one stated there was a shooting in the office at the school.
Dispatchers were able to track the calls to Myrtle Creek Elementary, where police immediately responded.
Police say it was quickly discovered that there was no threat to the school.
Officers conducted an investigation and arrested two juvenile males at Coffenberry Middle School.
Both were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with First Degree Disorderly Conduct and Misuse of 911.
