Spotlight on DC: Food Hero Kids Summer Time Food Program

Join OSU Extension Service, Ucan, and the local Umpqua Valley Farmers Market this summer for the Free Kid's Passport Program.

Kid's get a Food Hero Passport to receive stamps each week. Participate in Fruit and Vegetable tastings. Fun activities including a smoothiebike, vegetable art, and a scavenger hunt.
Kids, age 3 and up, get $2 vouchers each week for kids to spend on Fruits and Vegetables. Prizes will be given for 4 and 8 week participation milestones.

Check out all four locations through out the week June 1st thru August 9th
Saturdays from 9-1, June 1st-August 3rd, at Umpqua Valley Farmers Market on 1771 West Harvard in Roseburg.
Wednesdays 9:30-1:30, June 6th-August 7th, at Canyonville Farmers Market at Seven Feathers off exit 99.
Thursdays from 2:30-5:30, June 6th - August 8th (Closed July 4th), at Looking glass Grange Farmers Market at 7426 Lookingglass Rd.
Fridays from 9-1, June 7th-August 9th, at Sutherlin Farmer's Market on the Corner of Willamette St and Everett Ave.
