UW women sweep NCAA Rowing Championship

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The number 1 ranked Washington women's rowing team swept all three grand finals at the NCAA rowing championship, becoming the first team to do so in the championship's history.

The Huskies earned their fourth NCAA rowing title Sunday at Mercer Lake under first-year head coach Yasmin Farooq.

The team won all nine of its races during the 3-day tournament, and scored the maximum 132 points to earn the team title.
