After a year at South Eugene as the head football coach, former Duck and NFL quarterback Chris Miller is moving on.
Miller told KVAL Sports on Wednesday that he has accepted the head coaching job at West Linn... The former Arizona Cardinals quarterbacks coach previously was in charge of South from 2002 to 2006, and the Axemen went 2-8 in Miller's first year back at the helm last season.
Miller endorsed assistant Kevin Leonard as a viable replacement, and thanked the South community for another chance to help the school.
South Eugene Athletic Director Dave Hancock said Miller was very open about what was going on while he talked with West Linn. Hancock told KVAL Sports he hopes to have a new head coach hired by mid-March.
