County football players, cheerleaders set for All-Star game

Eight Douglas County student-athletes will take part in this weekend's Shriners all-star football game.

The 60th annual event is set for Saturday, August 4 in Baker City and showcases the top 4A/3A/2A/1A seniors from across the state. The West roster includes Camas Valley's Ryan Dancer and Richard Andreas; Douglas lineman Levi Hastings; Sutherlin's Randy Black; Zech Patryson of Glendale; and Yoncalla's Tyler Graham.

South Umpqua's Bryce Walter and Alayna Budel were selected to perform for the West cheerleading squad.

The East-West Shrine game will be televised by Root Sports Northwest.
