EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon football team's "Win The Day" slogan was temporarily removed from the walls inside Autzen Stadium, which led to a lot of speculation through various social media outlets.
It all started when University of Oregon Senior associate athletic director Craig Pintens tweeted a picture of the inside Autzen Stadium alluding to the bare walls.

People on Twitter began speculating that the university may be ditching the slogan coined during the Chip Kelly era.
The highly popular website Reddit even made a mention of the tweet from their college football twitter account, adding to the buzz.
"During the offseason, people need something to talk about," Craig Pintens said, "so this was a great thing to talk about."
In reality, construction work necessitated the artwork come down while work is done on the wall.
"Instead of just patching up 40 spots on the wall we decided to take it all down and put up a new fresh look before kickoff in late August," Pintens said.
The new look won't be revealed until August, but Pintens said they are not going to abandon "Win The Day."
"We are 'Win The Day'," he said.
