      Small earthquake shakes near Diamond Lake

      DIAMOND LAKE, Ore. -- A small earthquake struck near Diamond Lake Sunday morning, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.

      Officials say the magnitude 2.9 quake hit just after 8:30 am.

      The quake happened about 55 miles east of Roseburg, and was reported to be at a depth of 1.1 miles.
