Officials seek public comment on adding recreation activities to Swiftwater Park
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg Bureau of Land Management wants to hear from you about adding recreational activities to Swiftwater Park.
They'll hold an open house next week to talk about potential outdoor activities at the park.
It's in the “wild and scenic” river corridor of the North Umpqua River, a popular camping and hiking spot.
"Different individuals who may have an interest in an activity out there that we haven't thought of or they may be going out there right now and using it in ways that we might not be aware of," said BLM’s Cheyne Rossbach.
Your input is welcome at the Swiftwater Open House on December 12 from 4:30-6 p.m.
