Action cameras gone wild
PORTLAND, Ore. - It's one of the biggest trends among both amateur and professional photographers - wearable 'action' cameras that can show unique perspectives of the world around us.
It all started back in 2004 when a little company called GoPro sold their first action camera - a 35 mm version. The company's founder, Nick Woodman, was inspired by a surfing trip he had taken in Australia a few years before.
The GoPro was an instant hit and today it's known the world over. And other brands are getting in on the action camera craze as well.
