Woman faces murder charge after southern Oregon shooting
SUNNY VALLEY —
After a fatal shooting in southern Oregon Wednesday evening, officials have arrested a woman suspected of murder.
Responding authorities found 54-year-old Randy Allen Hummel dead at the scene on Placer Road in Sunny Valley, according to a statement from the Oregon State Police.
Detectives suspected Amber Ellen Sells, 40, was responsible for the murder and arrested her on the charge.
The investigation was ongoing as of Thursday morning. No further information was immediately available.
