Unsafe river conditions postpone Penguin Plunge
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Due to the unsafe conditions, the annual Penguin Plunge has been postponed.
The high water level and fast current at River Forks Park has led organizers to hold off on hosting the fundraiser.
People in teams jump into the frigid water to raise money for Douglas CARES, which helps children who are abused in our area.
The event has been rescheduled to March 15.
