'There's just nothing more that we can do until she gets a new heart'
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Baylee Brynn was born with a serious heart condition. The 4-month-old lives with her family in Roseburg, however she often has visits to specialists in other parts of the state.
Over the course of the last week Baylee started showing signs of kidney failure. She was flown by air ambulance to the Seattle Children's Hospital where she now awaits a heart transplant.
"We're a very tight family, and we all lived together and we've all pitched in the best we can to take care of this baby," said Baylee's aunt, Brianna Stocks. "We're just asking for help now. It's out of our hands financially and medically. There's just nothing more that we can do until she gets a new heart."
The family is holding a car wash at Louise's in Winston on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
They also have a gofundme account set up to help cover the cost of medical bills.
