ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Rising stars are trekking to Roseburg to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek.

Kicking off Thursday night, actors from Eugene's Trek Theatre will be presenting a musical performance of the Trek episode Amok Time.

The show's director says it's something for the whole family.

"Parents, use your discretion, but we always say that we welcome families,” director Christina Allaback says. “It's also a way that parents can introduce kids to something that they love and also a way to bring younger people into the theatre.”

The performance features original music composed by UCC’s own musical director Dr. Jason Heald.

You can catch Amok Time Thursday night at UCC's Centerstage Theatre.

Show times are at 8 p.m. each night through Saturday, with a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are ten dollars at the door
