Sheriff: Woman sex offender involved with teen boy

MYRTLE POINT, Ore. -- A Myrtle Point woman is behind bars, charged by the Sheriff's office with being sexually involved with a 16-year-old boy.

The Sheriff's office began an investigation on Saturday, after receiving information about a possible sex abuse crime in the Myrtle Point area.

Deputies say they found that Desirea Key Chapman, 30, of Myrtle Point, had been involved sexually with the teen boy.

Authorities say Chapman is a registered sex offender and on probation.
