Sheriff: Have you seen this man? If you do, call police

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ore. -- The Douglas County Sheriff's office is looking for a Glide man who they say is a person of interest in several burglaries.

On Friday, deputies attempted to arrest Caleb "Gator" Titus, 26, at his residence in Glide.

The Sheriff's office says Titus was able to avoid being arrested, but detectives say they did locate a stolen Glock handgun from a Lane County burglary, as well as a .22 rifle that had been stolen in Douglas County.

Deputies say Titus is a person of interest in several other burglaries and thefts. They also say he had been spotted driving a vehicle that was stolen in the Glide area.

Titus is currently on probation for unlawaful possession of meth, and has warants for both felony and misdemeanor crimes, as well as being wanted in connection to several property crimes in both Lane and Douglas counties.

Anyone with information on the location of Caleb "Gator" Titus is requested to call the Douglas County Communications Center at (541) 440-4471.
