Sheriff: Grandma threatened to kill grandson with machete
WINSTON, Ore. -- A 74-year-old grandmother was arrested by deputies Monday, after they say she chased her 20-year-old grandson with a machete.
Authorities say deputies were called to a residence in the 600 block of Raleigh Drive at about 2:30 pm, for a report that a woman was chasing someone with a machete.
The grandson of Loretta Kaiser, 74, claimed Kaiser was threatening to murder him while holding a machete. His girlfriend was with him at the time, the Sheriff's office said.
Deputies arrested Kaiser and charged her with two counts of menacing as well as criminal mischief.
The woman was lodged in the Douglas County Jail.
