Roseburg Police: Keizer man arrested for trespassing, failure to report as sex offender
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Keizer man arrested for trespassing in Roseburg also had outstanding warrants and had failed to report as a sex offender, police said.
According to a Roseburg Police Department report, 60-year-old Jon Leslie Brandt was contacted while trespassing in the business district at 1350 NE Stephens.
The arrest took place at 3 a.m. Wednesday, according to the log, which also lists a 1985 Chevy Astrovan associated with Brandt.
Police say he was found to have warrants for his arrest and additionally failed to report his change of residence, as required by his sex offender status.
He was charged with failing to report as a sex offender (change of residence), two failure to appear warrants (one from Coos County and one from Roseburg Municipal Court), and second degree criminal trespass.
Brandt was lodged at Douglas County Jail.
