COOS BAY, Ore. -- The sunny weather drew a large crowd to the weekly Farmers Market Wednesday in downtown Coos Bay.

The market manager says blueberries, peaches and cherries are some of the most popular items this season, but the food court is always a hit.

“One of our most popular areas of the market is our food court which has a great, wonderful, wide spread of barbeque and hotdog options, pizza and all sorts of things, but now vegan and vegetarian options (too)," said market manager Ashley Audycki.

One of those options is newcomer Wrappin and Rollin, which rolls into town every Wednesday from Roseburg.

They offer vegan and gluten free options.

"I think what we have to offer isn't like what everybody else has to offer here, so I know that in Roseburg, there is a huge need for vegan food, so I found that to be true in Coos Bay as well,” said Wrappin and Rollin owner Darci Hawkins. “A lot of people have allergies to daily or gluten, so they know they can order pretty much whatever and they're safe with us."

The farmers market is on Central Avenue in Coos Bay every Wednesday through October.
