Police ID men killed in head-on collision on I-5

ROSEBURG, Ore. – Two people died in a head-on collision on Interstate 5 early Sunday morning, according to Oregon State Police.

Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 124 at about 3 a.m.

After investigating, police say a 2014 Ford Focus was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-5. They believe the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed.

The Ford struck a southbound 2005 Volkswagen Jetta head-on near the 124 southbound on-ramp.

Police say the drivers in both vehicles were men and they both died at the scene. There were no other occupants in the vehicles.

Police identified the driver of the Ford as Brady Paul Golladay, 28 of Riddle.

The driver of the VW has been identified as Roman M. Fedorov, 36, of Seattle.

Roseburg Police, Roseburg Fire and the Oregon Department of Transportation assisted Oregon State Police. Interstate 5 was reduced to one southbound lane until 6 a.m.
