Police: Sutherlin man arrested after breaking into Roseburg insurance office
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Sutherlin man was arrested Saturday after police say he broke into a Roseburg insurance office.
According to a Roseburg Police Department report, officers responded to a burglary alarm at the State Farm office at 480 NE Stephens just before 11 p.m.
Upon arrival, police said 32-year-old Kevin Rene Davis was found to be inside.
Davis damaged the door to get into the business and walked out with a notepad, the report said.
Police said his parole officer "authorized his detention."
He's charged with second degree burglary, second degree criminal mischief, third degree theft and parole violation.II
Davis was lodged at Douglas County Corrections.
