Police: Roseburg man arrested after attempt to cash forged check

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg man was arrested and charges after police say he attempted to cash a forged check.

According to a Roseburg Police Department report, 25-year-old Matthew Dain Rudolph allegedly attempted to cash a forged check at Fred Meyer that belonged to Roseburg Towing.

The incident happened around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Rudolph was subsequently arrested for second-degree forgery, and parole violation, the report said.

He was lodged at the Douglas County Jail.
