      Police: Chemult man found with 2 small pipe bombs in his car

      CHEMULt, Ore. -- Police arrested a Chemult man Saturday night after finding two small pipe bombs in his car, State Police said.


      Troopers were called out to a home off of Bernard Lane to handle an intoxicated man, later identified as Donald Cockerill, 26, of Chemult, who was threatening to use an explosive to blow up a car and a nearby home.


      After detaining Cockerill, troopers found two pipe bombs inside his car.


      He was later booked into the Klamath County Jail on multiple charges including harassment, possessing a destructive device, menacing, and 2nd-degree criminal mischief.
