PD: Man jumps on car being stolen

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A Roseburg man sprang into action when he saw someone stealing his car on Sunday, and fortunately wasn't hurt in the process.

An employee at O'Reilley's Autoparts heard his car start Sunday evening, so he ran outside and jumped on top of it.

The two inside the car, later identified as Michael Sidrian, 38, and Kristie Rouvinin, 23, both of Oakley, California, were able to drive off in the man's car.

The owner of the vehicle was able to roll off and wasn't hurt.

Sidrian and Rouvinin were later found and arrested in the Costco parking lot, according to authorities.

The pair are being held at the Douglas County Jail on a host of charges, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft in the second degree.

The vehicle was released back to the owner at the scene.
