A domestic dispute leaves one man dead in Cave Junction
Cave Juction, Ore. —
Oregon State Police is investigating a fatal stabbing in Cave Junction on Tuesday.
According to OSP, the incident happened on the 100 block of North Boundary Avenue at about 8:15 p.m.
Initial investigation revealed that 58-year-old Valerie Atcher was involved in an argument with her husband 55-year-old Eric Atcher when she stabbed him at least one time.
Eric died from his injuries.
Valerie was arrested and taken to Josephine County Jail. She was charged with Manslaughter in the first degree.
