New teen center opens at Casa de Belen

ROSEBURG, Ore. - The Roseburg Area Chamber's leadership class took on Casa de Belen's teen center as their service project back in January.

Since then they've been hard at work to get it finished.

The teens at Casa got their first look at the center on Sunday and seem to really like what they're seeing.

"It's really cool because it may seem like a big building, but we actually have a lot of people in here," said Taylor Jackson, who lives there. "So it's kind of cool to have our own area. We have a few adults and a lot of little kids and we're always sharing areas and it's kind of nice to have our own little place just for us."

Jackson said the area will be great for homework and studying.
