ROSEBURG, Ore. -- With a little over the week until the slated closure of the Douglas County libraries, the Library Task Force met Friday, working to find a solution.

The Library Systems and Services company is recommending the county hire two part-time employees through their company -- a library trainer and a volunteer coordinator.

They also suggested options for the county to outsource library funding, like issuing membership cards for those outside city limits.

No decisions have been made.

The next meeting is Friday of next week at 10 a.m. in the Douglas County Library.
