COOS COUNTY, Ore. -- Authorities are asking for your help in locating a missing man.
Last Thursday, the Coos County Sheriff's office received a request from the McMinnville Police Department, asking for assistance in looking for a 25-year-old male that had been reported overdue by family members.
Zachary B. Porter of McMinnville had been reported missing by family members when he did not return home, after having driven down to the Coos Bay area last Tuesday to sell a motorcycle.
Officials say Porter was reportedly last seen last Tuesday afternoon between 4 and 6 pm, when he was dropped off on Highway 101 at the North Bay Road intersection, across from the ATV Rental business in Hauser.
Authorities say Porter was wearing blue jeans and a dark colored t-shirt with wording down one side of the shirt in front.
He is described as an adultmale with olive complexion, 5 feet 11 inches and weighing approximately 170 pounds.
Anyone with information or who might remember seeing Porter in the Hauser area on July 23, 2013, is requested to contact the Coos County Sheriff's Office at 541-396-2016.
