Get a free coffee, help community on Valentine's Day

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Dutch Bros coffee folks are bringing in food for the hungry in Douglas County this Valentine's Day.

The Roseburg and Sutherlin locations are offering free drinks to customers who bring in cans of food.

Clayton Reinhart, owner of the Roseburg Dutch Bros, says it's all about 'Dutch Luv.' "The last several years in a row, we do this every year on Valentine's Day," he said. "If you bring in three cans of food you get a free medium sized drink, anything you want on the menu."

Reinhart says the event has been well received in past years. "It's worked out really good," he said. "We usually raise a lot of food to donate to our local food bank, so we're hoping to raise more than we did last year."

Last year they collected more than 6,000 pounds of food locally and over 200,000 pounds company wide.
