Festival of Lights kicks off Sunday at River Forks Park
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- If you're in the holiday spirit this weekend the Umpqua Valley Festival of Lights begins on Sunday in Roseburg.
This is the 25th anniversary of the event.
It will feature 90 lighted displays and the world's largest nutcracker.
Organizers have also partnered with Disney to keep displays new and fresh for the younger visitors.
"We made arrangements with Walt Disney Company to add characters from Frozen,” said the festival’s Kerwin Doughton, “and we're working on getting those down here and opening a pipeline in the future with Disney."
The Festival of Lights kicks off this Sunday and runs through January 1 at River Forks Park near Roseburg.
