Earthquake near Sherwood rattles Portland metro area
SHERWOOD, Ore. -- A 3.3 magnitude earthquake rattled residents in the Portland area Sunday night.
The United States Geological Survey recorded the quake just around 8:30 p.m.
The epicenter was about 5 miles northwest of Sherwood and about 12 miles underground, according to the USGS.
No injuries or damage were reported, but people all over the southwest metro area reported feeling shaking.
The USGS 'Did You Feel It?' web site tracks damage and shake reports.
