Community gathers to remember crash victim
MYRTLE CREEK, Ore. -- Friends and family of the Myrtle Creek woman who died in a car accident on September 5, gathered to remember her this weekend.
Hundreds of people showed up at the Myrtle Creek Nazarene Church on Saturday to honor Chelsea Duffy.
Loved ones spent hours talking about the joy she brought to life.
"She was an amazing mom," said Barbara Duffy, Chelsea's sister. "I knew she'd be an amazing mom, but now I have something to look forward to, because that's one thing that I don't know I could ever beat her at. She was an awesome mom."
Duffy's family has set up a fund to help Chelsea's daughter Zeza go to college someday.
