Car crashes into Roseburg Drive-In

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A vehicle crashed into the Pete's Drive-In building on Harvard Ave. in Roseburg just before 1:00 pm on Tuesday.

Multiple calls started coming in to the 911 dispatch center about a vehicle that had crashed into the popular Roseburg eatery.

Authorities on the scene say the car, being driven by Callaway, Marlena Marie Callaway, 31, of Winston, was eastbound on Harvard, crossed the lanes and hit the front of the building.

Initial reports suggested the crash may have been caused by a medical emergency, but the investigation is ongoing.

Callaway was transported to Mercy, along with a small child who appeared to be uninjured.

Police cited Callaway for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and careless driving.

It appears that damage to the building was minimal.
