COOS COUNTY, Ore. -- Police say there were only minor injuries after a crash on Highway 101 Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say a Chevy Impala was heading north on Hwy 101 in front of the Mill Casino, when it failed to yield to southbound traffic.
The Chevy was struck by a semi truck.
Police say that aside from the female driver and male passenger, there was a 4-month-old infant in the car, sitting on the same side the semi struck.
Authorities told KCBY News that the accident could have been a lot worse, as other vehicles had to swerve out of the way.
Police say the driver of the car was from out of town, and not familiar with the area.
Medical crews and police from North Bend responded to the scene, as well as security personnel from the Casino, as they are trained as first responders.
Police say the crash is still under investigation.
