Arts Festival kicks off in Roseburg with over a hundred vendors
ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Much like Music on the Halfshell, southern Oregon residents wait all year for the Arts Festival, which kicked off Friday in Roseburg.
It's the 48th Annual Summer Arts Festival at Fir Grove Park and this year's fest features over a hundred vendors showcasing crafty passions from across the nation.
There will also be a food truck court with local wineries and breweries and live entertainment throughout the weekend.
"From woodwork to metal work to glass blowing to painting, photography; we really cover a lot of areas," Umpqua Valley Arts Association director Sandee McGee says.
The event is put on by the Umpqua Valley Arts Association.
It runs until 9 p.m. Friday night and opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is three dollars; families get in for $10; children under six get in free.
