With her bold color picks and choice of labels like Miu Miu, Emmy-nominated Kerry Washington has topped "Vanity Fair"'s 2013 list of the best-dressed people in the world. The "Scandal" star beat out a list of big names like Kate Middleton and Justin Timberlake on a list that also contains some surprising choices.
In addition to Washington, Timberlake and Middleton (the first, second and third place winners, respectively), the list includes Rolling Stone Keith Richards at number five, designer and footballer-wife Victoria Beckham at number six, and Miami Heat forward Lebron James at number eight. Other notable list-makers include Beyonce and burlesque beauty Dita Von Teese.
The list also features a number of individuals who aren't in the entertainment industry, including China's First Lady, Peng Liyuan. Michelle Obama did not make the list.
